The Challenge
The key challenge was striking the right balance between corporate professionalism and emotional reassurance. Many NDIS providers risk appearing either too clinical or too informal. NBC needed to earn trust while standing out, all without alienating or overwhelming its audience. The colour palette, typography, and brand language had to reflect reliability while building a personal connection with diverse clients and their families.
The Solution
The design approach introduced a fresh and uplifting colour scheme—moving away from the traditional blues and greys of the sector to include soft corals, warm lilacs, and balanced neutrals. The logo and overall visual identity maintained clean lines and modern typography to retain a corporate foundation, while rounded elements and human-centric imagery conveyed approachability. The brand tone and visual presence were unified across all platforms, from printed materials to digital interfaces, ensuring consistency and emotional resonance.
